BIRDWATCHING
TOUR
The cloud forest of the Boquete Highlands provides an ideal setting for birdwatching, recognized for its diversity and natural balance.
The tour takes place within the private Río Cristal Nature Reserve, located at over 1,700 meters above sea level in the Talamanca mountain range, near La Amistad International Park.
DIVERSITY
OBSERVE
This cloud forest environment supports an extraordinary diversity of birdlife. Our records include more than 150 species, many of them characteristic of the region’s highland ecosystems.
During the walk, it is possible to observe species such as tanagers, warblers, and trogons, as well as the Resplendent Quetzal, which nests in these forests between December and April.
An experience designed for those who enjoy observing nature at a slower pace and discovering the richness of the cloud forest.
